The Hon. Julie Eiselt is mayor pro tem of Charlotte and has been a Charlotte City Council member since being elected in 2015.
In her role on the city council, Eiselt chairs the Transportation & Planning Committee and serves on the Intergovernmental Relations and Economic Development committees. In the community, she also serves as a board member for the Blumenthal Performing Arts and The Relatives.
Eiselt’s career in international banking and manufacturing allowed her to live in London, Dallas, Milwaukee and Miami, while traveling extensively to Latin America and Eastern Europe.
She attended Indiana University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and minors in French and business. Eiselt earned a master’s degree in international management at The American Graduate School of International Management.
