On behalf of the N.C. Department of Transportation, a consultant, Mark Smith of The Right of Way Group, LLC, is working on property acquisition for U.S. 70 Improvements - Havelock Bypass to East of Thurman Road.
The department has provided Smith a letter on NCDOT letterhead stating their group is acquiring property for this project.
