Safe Routes to School is a national and international movement aimed at enabling and encouraging all children to walk and bicycle to school.

Proceeds from the sale of the specialized
"Share the Road" North Carolina license plate go toward the Integrated Mobility Division's Bicycle Helmet Initiative.
