Project OverviewPlanning and development are underway on a proposed road in Salisbury that would stretch from U.S. 70/U.S. 601 (Jake Alexander Boulevard) near Brenner Avenue to the Cedar Springs Road/U.S. 29/Peeler Road intersection.
Known as Airport Parkway, this four-mile road will help improve traffic flow, safety and provide better access to southwest Salisbury, I-85 and the Mid-Carolina Regional Airport.
Airport Parkway will also provide better transportation options for those living and working in the area by addressing pedestrian, bicycle and transit needs.
