The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to widen Old Monroe Road from Morningside Lane to Wesley Chapel and Stouts roads in Mecklenburg and Union counties. The revised design of roundabouts near the intersection of Wesley Chapel Stouts Road will be presented.

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
This informal, drop-in style public meeting will provide residents, business owners, and other interested community members a chance to review the proposed plans, ask questions, and provide comments. The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or by mail no later than March 2, 2023.
