DURHAM – Contractors with the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a section of Angier Avenue for about four months starting Monday.
The closure will affect Angier Avenue between Alston Avenue (N.C. 55) and South Holman Street. Weather permitting, the closure will begin midday on March 24 and be removed in late June.
The work will involve water and sewer line work, and grading construction.
Drivers will be detoured to Ellis Road, Pettigrew Street, Chatham Place, and Gann Street, before returning to Alston Avenue (N.C. 55).
