WINSTON SALEM – On Monday, a N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will begin performing the inspection of the bridge located on Mock Street across U.S. 52 in Winston-Salem.
To ensure the safety of the inspection crew and the traveling public, the left lane of the southbound direction of US 5.2. will be closed. The lane closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The inspection is a routine safety measure to evaluate the condition of the bridge and ensure its structural integrity.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, follow all posted traffic control signs, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
