NEWTON GROVE - A couple of Sampson County roads will close next week to improve water flow in the area.
Weather depending, Kornegay Town Road near Cedar Point will be closed to traffic Feb. 17 and 18. Then, on Feb. 19 and 20, Williams R. King Road near Mount Olive Highway will close. Both roads will close for two days to allow N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews to replace a pipe.
While both road closures are not anticipated to heavily disrupt traffic, drivers are encouraged to plan their routes ahead of time and use caution when traveling near the sites.
