CARRBORO-An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement a road closure Monday morning, weather permitting.
Jones Ferry Road between Old Greensboro and Old Fayetteville Road
will close at 9 a.m. for shoulder repair work and is expected to reopen on Friday.
A guided detour will utilize Jones Ferry Road, Old Fayetteville Road, Hatch Road, Old Greensboro Road and N.C. 54.
Drivers should anticipate a longer commute and plan ahead, and slow down and remain alert near the work zone.
