WINSTON SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will temporarily close Peters Creek Parkway at Silas Creek Parkway this weekend, weather permitting.
Crews will close all lanes nightly from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Drivers should also expect daytime lane closures as needed. All work is set to wrap up Monday morning by 6 a.m.
The closure is needed so crews can safely work over the travel lanes of Peters Creek Parkway/N.C. 150.
A signed detour will guide drivers from Silas Creek Parkway to Lockland Avenue to Link Road back to Peters Creek Parkway.
Drivers are reminded to remain alert and plan accordingly for delays when using detour routes and new traffic patterns.
