​PITTSBORO - The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close Suttles Road​ near Chatham Parkway this week.
Beginning Nov. 15, crews will close the stretch of roadway in both directions for drainage and waterline improvements.
The closure will be in place until Dec. 15.
Motorists are encouraged to detour from Chatham Parkway to U.S. 64, to U.S. 15-501, to Russet Run.
Drivers should use caution if traveling near the work zone and plan their commute accordingly, as it may take longer than normal.
