GIBSONVILLE– An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close a road in Guilford County for about eleven months for a bridge replacement project.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on July 15, Running Creek Road between Troxler Mill and High Rock Roads will be closed to allow crews to construct a new bridge. The new bridge is anticipated to open to traffic by June 2025.
During the closure a signed detour will Guide traffic around the closure using Troxler Mill, Osceola-Ossipee, and High Rock Roads.
Drivers are advised to use extra caution and plan accordingly for delays due to the detour.
