CLEVELAND – The N.C. Department of Transportation has awarded a $1.3 million contract to replace the bridge on Brawley Road over Weathers Creek, northeast of Mooresville.
Contractor R.E. Burns and Sons Co., Inc. will close the bridge on Monday morning, Sept. 23. The closure will be in place through summer 2025, allowing contract crews to safely replace the bridge.
A signed detour will be in place for drivers along Shinnville Road, Weathers Creek Road and Ostwalt Amity Road, returning to Brawley Road.
