SURF CITY – The public is invited to meet with state transportation officials next week to discuss the proposal to make enhancements to a few of roadways in Surf City.
The N.C. Department of Transportation is looking to improve N.C. 210, Caretta Drive and Charlie Medlin Drive in Surf City. The purpose of the project is to improve mobility and increase capacity in the area. More information, including project details and maps, can be found at the project website.
The meeting will be held on Sept. 9 at Surf City Parks and Recreations – Gymnasium 201 on Community Center Drive in Surf City. The public is invited to attend any time between 5-7 p.m. Staff will be available for discussion and to answer questions; there will not be a formal presentation.
