GIBSONVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will temporarily close a Guilford County Road for a pipe replacement next week, weather permitting.
Starting on Monday morning, Summerdale Road will be closed. The closure is expected to last at least three weeks, reopening on Sept. 6. During this period, crews will be replacing a storm pipe under the roadway.
A signed
detour will guide drivers around the closure. Drivers are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs and detours.
