RALEIGH- Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close the ramp from Interstate 540 East to U.S. 64 East toward Zebulon one night to install new pavement striping.
Starting Sunday at 10 p.m., weather permitting, crews will close the ramp from I-540 East (Exit 26) to U.S. 64 East toward Zebulon reopening Monday morning by 5.
Traffic will detour to I-87 South then take Hodge Road (Exit 6) to return to I-87 North.
Drivers should slow down and proceed cautiously through this work zone.
