Lane Shift on I-440 Happening Tonight in Raleigh

​RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation will shift traffic on Interstate 440 West as part of the I-440 improvement project.

Starting at 8 tonight, traffic on I-440 West from Lake Boone Trail to Western Boulevard will be shifted off the existing roadway onto the new Wade Avenue Bridge and Hillsborough Street Bridge. This work will finish by 5 on Tuesday morning.

Motorists will need to follow on scene traffic control.​
