A Durham highway now bears the name of former Duke University men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski.
Officials with the N.C. Department of Transportation, Duke University and Durham honored Krzyzewski last week by officially designating a section of N.C. 751 as the Coach K Highway.
Krzyzewski coached the Duke men's basketball team from 1980 to 2022. He is one of the winningest coaches in college basketball history.

Saturday Hours DMV
Starting this weekend, the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will resume Saturday hours at 16 driver license offices.
The agency hopes the expanded service opportunities will make it easier for everyone during the busy summer season.
Walk-in services will be provided on Saturdays from June 8 through Aug. 24 from 8 a.m. through noon, and no appointments are required.
The offices will issue new driver licenses or ID cards, renewals or duplicate orders, as well as REAL IDs and offer a number of other services.
