Overnight Lane Closures Upcoming for I-885 in Durham

​DURHAM- Contractors will resurface Interstate 885 between Interstate 40 and T.W. Alexander Drive in both directions starting Monday night.

Weather permitting, one of two lanes on I-885 will periodically close overnight Sundays through Thursdays at 8 p.m. opening each morning at 6. ​ The ramp from I-40 to I-885 will close at 10 p.m. Work is set to start May 28 and last until late August of this year.

Drivers should remain alert, avoid distractions, and obey all posted signs in the work zone.
