HIGH POINT– An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close a ramp in Guilford County for about seven months.
Beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow, the ramp on southbound U.S. 29 to northbound Main Street will be closed. The closure is needed for the construction of a new ramp at this location. Work on this section is expected to be complete in November.
During the closure a signed detour will guide drivers onto U.S. 29.
Drivers are advised to use extra caution and plan accordingly for delays due to the detour.
