JACKSONVILLE – A section of Haws Run Road in Jacksonville is scheduled to close for a few days next week.
The roadway near Scott Jenkins Road will close at 8 a.m. March 25. It is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. March 27, after N.C. Department of Transportation crews replace a drainage pipe.
During the closure, drivers can use N.C. 53, Holly Shelter Road and Scott Jenkins Road as a detour.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for their commute and drive cautiously around the work site.
