MARSHVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close the bridge on Leonard Morgan Road over Norkett Branch next week to start a $992,609 replacement project.
Contractor NJR Group Inc. of Albemarle earned the contract to remove and replace the existing structure starting Monday, March 25.
During the closure, drivers will detour using Landsford Road and White Store Road, returning to Leonard Morgan Road.
The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year.
