GREENSBORO- North Carolina Department of Transportation crews will implement overnight lane and ramp closures along Interstate 40 and Randleman Road this weekend to complete tree removal operations, weather permitting.
The following closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following morning:
- Friday, the left lane will close on I-40 east between U.S. 29 and S. Elm Eugene Street.
- Friday, exit 220 to Randleman Road will be closed with a detour.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
