GREENSBORO – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will implement nightly lane closures on U.S. 70 (Wendover Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. next week, weather permitting.
From Oct. 22-27, two of three lanes will be closed on U.S. 70 near the Benjamin Parkway and Westover Terrace interchange.
The closures are necessary to allow the contractors to replace the overhead signs along the stretch of road.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in this area and expect delays at night.
