LEWISVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will start construction to improve Country Club Road near Phillips Bridge Road and reduce travel on Country Club Road to one lane starting Monday, weather permitting.
The lane closure will be in place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Work is expected to be complete by Aug. 18.
The lane reduction is necessary for workers to lift the road approaching the bridge to make for a smoother ride entering and exiting the bridge.
Drivers should expect delays in the area, slow down and obey all signs posted in the work zone.
