CHARLOTTE – Tonight, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will resume a project on the Brookshire Freeway end of Interstate 277, requiring two overnight ramp closures.
Pavement rehabilitation work will continue, closing the ramp from I-77 North to I-277 Inner (exit 9C) and from I-277 Inner to I-77 South (exit 1B.) The ramps will be closed tonight and Thursday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
During these times, traffic will be merged to the left lane on the bridge over I-77 as well.
All closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
