WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a lane of a major road in Forsyth County for a daytime maintenance project.
Beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow, the left lane of Silas Creek Parkway (N.C. 67) will be closed in both directions north of Robinhood Road. The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely make adjustments to the pavement to reduce standing water after rainfalls.
The lane will reopen by 3 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and remain alert while driving through the work zone.
