WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for three nights for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
The following closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- Tonight and tomorrow, two of three lanes will close on I-40 East from Stratford Road to Peters Creek Parkway.
- Thursday, two of three lanes will close on I-40 East from Peters Creek Parkway to west of U.S. 52.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
