CHARLOTTE – This week, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will continue a bridge rehabilitation project on the John Belk Freeway end of Interstate 277, requiring overnight ramp closures.
Crews will close the following ramps each night this week through Sunday morning, May 14:
- From the inner loop to I-77 North and South (exits 1B and 1C)
- From I-77 North to the inner loop (exit 9C).
- From I-77 South to the outer loop (exit 9B).
- From the outer loop to I-77 North (exit 1C)
The ramp and lane closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night – Friday morning, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday night – Saturday morning, and from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday night – Sunday morning.
All closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
