WILMINGTON - A portion of Market Street (U.S. 17) will temporarily close while crews make repairs to the railroad track.
From April 29 through May 2, the roadway will be closed between Covil and Kerr avenues.
Depending on the location, digital message boards will advise drivers to use College Road, Martin Luther King Boulevard, Randall Parkway or 16th and 17th streets as a detour. The N.C. Department of Transportation encourages drivers to account for the detour when planning their commute and use caution around the work zone.
