WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of U.S. 421 in Forsyth County following the morning commute for three days next week.
Beginning Tuesday, the right lane of U.S. 421 South will be closed between the Yadkin River line and Williams Road daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely repair concrete slab on the road.
Work is dependent on weather and will be rescheduled as necessary until all work is complete.
Motorists are reminded to drive slowly and remain alert when approaching the work zone.
