WINSTON SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation Contractor will temporarily close Peters Creek Parkway at Silas Creek Parkway this weekend, weather permitting.
Crews will close all lanes nightly from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Drivers should also expect daytime lane closures as needed. All work is set to wrap up Monday morning by 6 a.m.
The closures are needed for crews to place concrete girders for the new bridge being built on Salisbury Ridge Road over Peters Creek Parkway.
A signed detour will guide drivers from Silas Creek Parkway to Lockland Avenue to Link Road back to Peters Creek Parkway.
Motorists are reminded to remain alert and plan accordingly for delays when using detour routes and new traffic patterns.
