KERNERSVILLE – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will temporarily close lanes on U.S. 421 (Salem Parkway) this weekend for road improvements for the ongoing Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
On March 11 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., highway traffic will be reduced to a single lane between South Main Street (Exit 224) and Future Interstate 74 (Exit 227). The closures are necessary to allow crews to safely install snowplowable reflectors in the roadway.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when traveling through the work zone.
