SAXAPAHAW– State transportation crews will close a section of East Greensboro Chapel Hill Road in Alamance County to install a new pipe under the roadway.
The road is scheduled to close near South Preacher Roberson Road starting on March 13 at 9 a.m. and is expected to reopen on March 31.
A signed detour will be provided using Bethel South Fork, Lambe and Lindley Mill roads.
Drivers should remain cautious and alert when approaching the road closure and factor the detour into their trips.
