WALNUT COVE – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor plans to close a section of road in Stokes County this week for maintenance.
From Oct. 8-12, Pine Hall Road will be closed between N.C. 65 and Fisherman Road to allow crews to complete paving and grading work.
A detour using N.C. 65 and Martin Luther King, Jr. Road will be in place.
Motorists are advised to slow down when approaching the work zone and allow extra time for the detour.
