SYLVA – The N.C. Department of Transportation has postponed two public meetings previously scheduled for early next week in far western counties due to potential impacts from Hurricane Ian.
New dates have not been selected for the previously scheduled meetings:
- Monday — Brasstown Community Center: For a proposed project to replace a bridge on Old U.S. 64 over the Hiawassee River.
- Tuesday — Robbinsville Elementary School: For a proposal to remove a bridge on Lower Mill Creek Drive.
