BERMUDA RUN - An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor plans to close lanes of Interstate 40 West in Davie County for a maintenance project starting next week, weather permitting.
From March 28 – April 4, one of two lanes of I-40 West is scheduled to be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. between mile markers 179 and 176. The closure will allow crews to safely perform concrete patching and pavement rehabilitation.
Beginning April 4, the contractor will have a continuous lane closure in the same area for 45 days to complete concrete slab repairs and patching.
Drivers are reminded to remain alert and drive slowly through the work zone.
