THOMASVILLE– A Davidson County junction will be closed while crews remove an abandoned railroad crossing early next week.
Blair and Trinity streets are set to close at 9 a.m. Monday while the railroad crossing near their mergence with Main Street is removed. This section should reopen the next day, weather and progress permitting.
During the closure, motorists should use Julian Avenue, East Sunrise Avenue and Liberty Drive as a detour route.
Drivers should allow for extra time to navigate the detour and watch for maintenance crews in this area.
