MOCKSVILLE – Starting today, the N.C. Department of Transportation will begin intermittent closures at the Interstate 40 East and West rest area stops in Davie County for two weeks.
Due to the ongoing water line repairs at the Davie County rest areas near mile marker 177, closures are expected to last until Dec. 17.
Motorists should anticipate some delays and use caution while approaching the work zones.
