KERNERSVILLE - The N.C. Department of Transportation is planning two closures on Forsyth County roads next week for culvert and shoulder repairs.
On Nov. 1, Foothills Drive will be closed in both directions near Kernersville Road. Work is expected to be complete by Nov. 5.
Traffic will be detoured to Kernersville Road, Longreen Drive, High Ridge Road, Birgeheath Road and back to Foothills Drive.
On Nov. 3, Quail Hollow Road will be closed in both directions near Whispering Pines Drive. Work is expected to be complete by Nov. 10.
Traffic will use a detour following Whispering Pines Drive, Foxfire Road, Pine Knolls Road and back to Quail Hollow Road.
Motorists should use caution and plan accordingly for delays due to the detours.
