CASWELL COUNTY – A section of N.C. 119 is set to close next week while crews replace a damaged drainage pipe that runs under the highway.
The road is set to be closed about a half-mile north of U.S. 158 from 9 a.m. Monday until Friday afternoon. The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
While the closure is in place, traffic will be detoured along U.S. 158, Solomon Lea Road and Osmond Road to access points on either side of the work zone.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in this area and factor the detour into their commutes.
