GUILFORD COUNTY – Crews plan to install safety upgrades this week at an intersection in southeast Guilford County in response to a recent traffic study.
An all-way stop is scheduled to be installed at the junction of N.C. 62 and Alamance Church Road starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Currently, only traffic on Alamance Church Road is directed to stop at the intersection. The installation of new signs and roadway markings on N.C. 62 is expected to be complete by 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Drivers should keep an eye out for crews working at this intersection Wednesday and prepare for the new traffic design.
