  • From Sept. 26-29, two of three lanes on I-40 East will be closed from just west of the I-40/U.S. 421 split (mile marker 187.5) to east of Hanes Mall Boulevard (mile marker 190).
  • From Sept. 26-29, two of three lanes on I-40 West will be closed from Peter’s Creek Parkway (mile marker 192) to Hanes Mall Boulevard (mile marker 190.5).

On Sept. 30 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., two lanes will be closed in one direction on the N.C. 66 bridge over I-40. Upon completion of work on one side, lanes will be closed in the opposite direction on the bridge.
