THOMASVILLE – A section of roadway will be closed while crews replace a failed drainage pipe this week in Thomasville.
Liberty Street is set to close at 8 a.m. Tuesday near East Sunrise Drive so the pipe can be replaced prior to resurfacing in this area. The work is expected to last through 3:30 p.m. Friday, weather permitting.
Drivers will be detoured to follow East Sunrise Drive, Julian Avenue and Blair Street to access points on either side of the work zone. They should allow extra time for the detour and be mindful of crews working in this area.
