SALISBURY – A portion of Poole Road will be closed from June 14-18 to allow crews to replace a failed storm drain that crosses under the roadway.
The drain being replaced currently does not allow storm runoff water to pass under the road correctly and it is essential to replace it to prevent damage to the roadway and any surrounding properties.
The location of the closure is just west of Agner Road. During the replacement, drivers should expect a detour marked to Agner, Bringle Ferry, and Providence Church Roads.
Poole Road will only be closed during the times that the storm drain is being worked on and is expected to be under construction for five days.
