STALLINGS – A section of Pleasant Plains Road will close next week between Potter Road and Old Monroe Road, weather permitting.
The closure will be in place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday – Friday so N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews can safely remove several trees hanging over the road and encroaching on power lines.
To keep drivers safe, a detour will be posted along Potter Road and Old Monroe Road. Flaggers will also be at both ends of the closure to allow access for local traffic.
