RALEIGH — N.C. Department of Transportation crews are planning close an exit ramp at the Interstate 440-Wade Avenue interchange next Wednesday and Thursday nights as a part of the
I-440 Improvements Project.
Each night from midnight until 5 a.m., the ramp from I-440 East to Wade Avenue (Exit 4) will be closed as crews remove and replace overhead signage.
Drivers will be detoured to Lake Bone Trail to turn around and access Wade Avenue.
Motorists need to pay attention near the work zone and anticipate needing extra time for the detour.
