WANCHESE – Lane closures will be in place on Mill Landing Road (N.C. 345) near the Wanchese Post Office Nov. 18 to replace two crossline pipes.
Maintenance crews for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane of the road starting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday between Pine Acres Road and Old Schoolhouse Road. The crews will then install half of the pipes, then switch lanes. Brief road closures may be needed for the lane switch and other issues. Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with caution in the area.
The crews plan to reopen the entire road by Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
