CONCORD – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Stough Road next week to make repairs to the bridge crossing Wolf Meadow Branch.
A spring rain event damaged some asphalt on the bridge deck, so it must be removed and replaced with new material. The closure will go in place after 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 and should open by late afternoon Friday, Nov. 6.
Drivers will be detoured from Stough Road to N.C. 49 and Roberta Road, returning to Stough Road.
