Interstate 277 Ramp Closures Resume Tonight

​CHARLOTTE – This evening, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews  will continue a $16.3 million project to improve 22 bridges along Interstate 277, requiring several ramp closures.​​Starting at 9 p.m., crews will close ramps from U.S. 74 West, South Boulevard, Church Street, and East Third Street to the inner loop, and from the inner loop to East Fourth Street.​Other ramps will close from South Boulevard, Kenilworth Avenue, and East Fourth Street to the outer loop, and from the outer loop to Kenilworth Avenue.​Crews will work in these areas until 6 a.m. Tuesday and each night through Monday morning, October 26.​​The closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
